Dom Muzyki i Tańca has been placing Zabrze on Poland's live music map since 1959, hosting over four thousand performances for more than 7.5 million attendees and welcoming artists from Leonard Cohen to B.B. King across its six decades of operation. That scale of ambition runs through the city's current scene: Club CK Wiatrak draws a committed rock audience, Jazz Club Iluzja sustains an intimate nightly program on Gdanska Street, and Sztolnia Królowa Luiza stages concerts inside a working heritage mine, making the industrial past an active part of the listening experience. The city also produced The Dumplings, the indie rock duo formed here in 2011 by Justyna Święs and Kuba Karaś, whose albums "Rabun" and "Sea You Later" earned them national recognition. Zabrze is not a city defined by a single genre, but by the breadth and seriousness of what it programs.
