Live Music in Gorzow Wielkopolski

Jazz has anchored the live music identity of Gorzow Wielkopolski since 1964, when Jazz Club Pod Filarami opened and began a decades-long run of hosting major Polish and international artists. The club still organizes the Gorzow Jazz Celebrations every autumn, an internationally recognized festival that draws serious listeners to a city that treats the genre with genuine institutional weight. That commitment to live performance extends well beyond jazz: the Filharmonia Gorzowska, a modern glass and steel concert hall opened in 2011 with seating for nearly 600, anchors the classical side of the calendar, while Klub MagnetOFFon and Klub Muzyczny C-60 handle the club end of the spectrum. The city also carries a distinctive Romani music tradition, with the annual Romane Dyvesa gathering bringing groups including Terno, a Romani music ensemble founded in Gorzow, to perform at the outdoor amphitheater each July.
