Live Music in Fredericia

Fredericia supplied the passenger ferry that was converted in 1964 into the radio ship MV Caroline, which became central to the offshore pirate station Radio Caroline and its challenge to British broadcasting restrictions. Today the city concentrates its live programming on musical theater at Fredericia Musical Theater, which produces large-scale shows and states its goal of becoming Denmark's musical center. Tøjhuset and Eksercerhuset together stage roughly 200 concerts and events each year, Freddies hosts club nights for up to 550 people, and local acts such as BAROCK and Rocka'Fellas maintain long-standing ties to the city.
