There are several acts called Slow. 1) SLOW was a four-piece, heavy, intense band from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formed in September 1999. With a Mushroomhead-ish sound, they made a name for themselves in the local Iowa scene. They had only one release in 2000, which was a demo, and were working on new material—a full-length album—but the band dissolved. * 2) Slow is an ambient drone (early) and atmospheric funeral doom metal (later) band from Belgium
