Melis Guven is a Turkish singer & song writer. She has been interested in music as a child. She has played piano since she was ten. Her musical education started at Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School, there she met with her next instrument, flute. She studied music theory at the college and focused on traditional Turkish Music and wooden instruments. Thence her first significant exposure to ethic sound base was at conservatory. In 2009, her musical career started by becoming a part of the college orchestra.
