Fleshcrawl is a German death metal band formed in Illertissen, Bavaria, in 1987. The band was founded by Stefan Hanus and Bastian Herzog under the name Morgöth. Since its formation, Fleshcrawl has undergone several line-up changes and has released a number of studio albums. Their most recent album, "Into the Catacombs of Flesh", was released in 2019 through Apostasy Records. The band was originally formed as Morgöth in 1987. In 1990, following the departure of original vocalist Wendelin Dopfer, Alex Pretzer joined as lead vocalist.
