Zénith Paris - La Villette
Zénith Paris - La Villette, originally conceived as a temporary structure in 1983 and inaugurated in 1984, has become a permanent fixture in Paris's live music scene. Designed by Philippe Chaix and Jean-Paul Morel, its distinctive lightweight metal structure covered in a silver canvas offers excellent acoustics and unobstructed views thanks to the absence of internal support pillars. Initially intended to replace the Pavillon de Paris and cater to rock and popular music, the venue's programming now encompasses a diverse range of genres including pop, rap, reggae, world music, and electro, attracting both French and international artists. Beyond concerts, Zénith Paris also hosts musicals, comedy shows, and conferences. Its iconic red silhouette stands out against the Parc de la Villette, making it a significant landmark.
