SUNSET/SUNSIDE PARIS 01
SUNSET/SUNSIDE PARIS 01 is a prominent jazz venue located at 60 Rue des Lombards in Paris's 1st arrondissement. The original 'Sunset' club was founded in 1983, making it the first jazz club on the 'rue du jazz'. In 2001, 'Sunside' opened, and the two venues unified. The Sunside, on the ground floor, focuses on acoustic jazz, while the basement Sunset is dedicated to electric jazz, electro-jazz, and world music. Concerts are held nightly. The venue is recognized as a benchmark jazz club in Paris, known for its intimate atmosphere, attentive staff, and cozy interior with wooden accents and low lighting. The basement club's arched and vaulted ceilings provide excellent acoustics and a distinctive aesthetic. It has hosted numerous French and international jazz musicians, facilitating close audience interaction.
