Privatclub
Privatclub, located in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, is housed in a repurposed old post office building on Skalitzer Straße. It offers an intimate, living-room atmosphere with a 70s-inspired décor of dark red interiors, fostering close artist-audience interaction. The venue's programming is diverse, featuring up-and-coming bands across genres from the 1980s through Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Rock'n'Roll, Indie rock, Pop, Alternative, R&B, Boogaloo, New Wave, Postpunk, Synth, Cumbia, Elektro, and Techno. It hosts regular live concerts, DJ parties, and festivals, with weekday evenings often dedicated to young bands and weekends to various party series, including the 1960s music-focused "Twist and Shout." The entrance, marked by a glowing 'P' above a brick door, adds to its distinctive charm. The venue is known for its friendly staff, good sound system, and positive vibes.
