Patronaat
Patronaat, located in Haarlem, Netherlands, is recognized as one of the top 10 largest and most important pop music venues in the country. Established in 1984, it moved to its current address at Zijlsingel 2 in 2005 after a new building replaced the original gymnasium structure. The venue hosts approximately 500 events annually, featuring a diverse program including alternative and progressive pop, rock, hip-hop, techno, indie, jazz, and electronic music. It is also a significant space for local and emerging talent development. Voted "BEST CLUB OF HOLLAND" in 2007, Patronaat's current building, designed by Paul Diederen, prioritizes visual connections and attendee interaction. It has achieved a Green Key Gold certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and inclusiveness, and supports social and educational initiatives.
