Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo
Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo is a cultural center located in Helsinki's Taka-Töölö district, housed within historic tram halls that date back to the early 20th century. Established in 2004, it occupies former trolley depots including the Carriage Hall and the Repair Hall, which was completed in 1909. The venue features multiple spaces with varying capacities, such as the Carriage Hall with a maximum standing capacity of 525 and the Attic with a maximum standing capacity of 150. It hosts approximately 400 cultural events annually, encompassing music, theatre, and fine arts, along with corporate and private functions. Known for its unique setting within old tram halls and a sheltered courtyard, Korjaamo offers a relaxed atmosphere and diverse programming that emphasizes topicality and interaction. It is recognized as one of the largest cultural centers in Northern Europe, with facilities that are largely accessible. The venue's distinctive architecture and historical ambiance contribute to its reputation as a significant cultural hub in Helsinki.
