Kollektivet Livet
Kollektivet Livet is a bar and concert venue in Stockholm's Södermalm district, housed in a former ferry terminal that was transformed into a cultural hub in spring 2022. The venue, whose name translates to 'The Collective Life,' was established by an artist group and cultural agency active since the early 2000s. It features multiple spaces: a main stage with a capacity of up to 700 guests (650 sellable tickets), a smaller stage with a total capacity of 300, and a terrace called KL Terrassen that holds 150 standing or 100 seated guests. The programming spans live music, club nights, and stand-up comedy, covering genres including rock, pop, electronic, country, soul, metal, hip-hop, indie, jazz, R&B, reggae, and hardcore. The venue is known for its waterfront location with views of Gamla Stan, Skeppsholmen, and Djurgården, and it maintains the original concrete and industrial character of the old ferry terminal while featuring a Dot audio sound system. Its ethos, rooted in its collective origins, emphasizes shared experience and enjoyment.
