Debaser Strand
Debaser Strand is a live music venue and nightclub tucked under a bridge on the waterfront at Hornstulls Strand in Stockholm. It opened in April 2013, replacing an earlier Slussen location, and has since expanded to include an outdoor stage and restaurant called Pontonen and an Italian restaurant, Capricci. The main concert hall holds up to 740 guests for standing shows, with a smaller stage, Nova, accommodating 320. The interior is dark and grungy, with exposed pipes and dark walls that focus attention on the stage, creating an intimate, basement-like atmosphere. Programming spans rock, pop, folk, alternative, and electronic dance music, with a mix of local and international acts. Debaser Strand is part of the Liveurope platform and is known for supporting local artists and hosting club nights alongside concerts.
