X21

X21 (read as X Nijuuichi) also known as Next Generation Unit X21 (次世代ユニットX21), was an idol group originally made up of 21 finalists of the 13th Japan Bishoujo Contest (第13回全日本国民的美少女コンテスト) in August 2012. They are a Japanese idol group formed in 2013 by Oscar Promotion. The “X” in the group’s name stands for “unknown”, “future” and “power that can not be predicted”. It indicates that they are the next generation idol unit and that their potential is unpredictable.
