We Are Not Bears is an indie/rock band based out of Purchase, NY. Members include James Ryan (Le Rug, Space Ghost Cowboys, Disasterpiece) on bass, William Whatley (Disasterpiece) on drums, and Kyle Pollard (Donner Party Picnic, Space Ghost Cowboys) on lead vocals and guitar. The band has become known for their heavy, rhythmically driven sound, pushed by Whatley's drumming and Ryan's complimentary bass lines. Drawing influence everywhere from D.I.Y.
