Under Threat are a melodic death metal band hailing from Bogotá, Colombia South America. The band was formed in 1997 by Nicolas Bermudez (guitars), David Bermudez (bass), Alejandro Rojas (drums) and John Perez (vocals), originally under the name of "Skulptor". In the middle of 1999, and after several conceptual changes, the name was changed to UnderThreat. The band entered the studio to record their first album release. "Hipostasis" was released at the end of 1999 on Transilvania Music
