Turiya

In early Hindu philosophy, Turiya is a state of pure consciousness, the experience of ultimate reality and truth. It is the fourth state of said consciousness that underlies and at the same time transcends the three common states of consciousness. There are two bands named Turiya: 1) Turiya is a melodic metal band out of Willits, California. Ryan is a former member of the thrash/metal band Soultorn. Later, Ryan worked in the death metal band Amidst the Blood and Black.
