The Sinister Turns were an indie pop band based in Cambridge, MA. The most recent lineup is Sophie Besl (bass, backup vocals), Susan Putnins (keyboards, lead vocals), Jacob Silterra (drums), Dan Thorn (guitar) They released an album in 2006, notable for its sophisticated lyrics and generally fun vibe. Their most recent release, a 2 track EP, came out in 2011 and is available on Bandcamp.
