The JiveCrank was formed by Andrew Dalrymple (Guitar) and Adam Weir (Organ, Bass Keys), both originally from Toronto, Canada. They have been playing and writing music together for more than 8 years after having met each other at the University of Ottawa while they were both in their second year of studies. Andrew and Adam later started a jazz-funk project called “JiveCrank” in Seoul, Korea - during 2005 along with Kenny Thompson (Tenor Sax) - while they were all ex-pats living and working overseas.
