Swampgrave is a Death Metal and Hardcore band hailing from various regions of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. Formed in August 2023, the band was founded by guitarist Zane Proffitt, guitarist Shawn Robert, and drummer Max Hatcher. Vocalist and bassist Coy Daigle III joined the lineup in late October 2023. After temporarily taking on drumming duties during the recording of Swampgrave's debut single, "Visceral Tomb", Jack Esposito officially joined as the drummer in early December 2023
