Sora Kai, previously known as Makena, is an experimental post-hardcore band hailing from Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band is composed of Andrei, Dominic, Richard, Joe, and Steven. Each member brought their experience from previous bands, and came together to create something new and refreshing. Their journey began in June 2018 with the release of their debut single, "Better Days." The song gained considerable local attention after being played on Q101.
