SMKA productions was formed in August 2008 and is composed of Atlanta native producer Blake "808 Blake" German, engineer/producer Kyle "7King" King, and business manager Mike Walberg. The 808 Experiment: Vol 1 is a free compilation album available online and at retail locations around Atlanta. The 808 Experiment is a series of free albums produced by 808 Blake & 7King of SMKA Productions that showcases hip-hop, R&B and pop artists from Atlanta and across the US.
