Shotgun Diplomacy began as a high school ska band; just a thought in the heads of young guitarist John Gray Shermyen and aspiring bassist Keenan Sieg back in late 2006. As they kicked ideas around, they recruited their friend, Blake Jones, to play drums for the non-existent band. To kick things off, they decided they'd better write some songs.
