Reed Martin

Reed Martin is an old-time banjo player living in Maryland. Although a well-known player and teacher for many years, he only has one CD release available, "Old Time Banjo". Unusually for an old-time player, Reed plays a Vega resonator banjo. On the fretboard where a Gibson banjo would have the "bow-tie" inlay, Reed has affixed an "Ultra High Purity" sticker from a nitrogen bottle in the laboratory where he once worked.
