The Coast is Clear is the first LP by trombonist and writer Trevor Mires. An accomplished player and busy figure on the London music scene Trevor's playing credits read like a who's who of jazz and popular music. These four originals and the setting of the Marley classic are a fine introduction to the personal side of a player who's normally working hard to bring the best out of other peoples music. It only remains to say that Trevor's powerful ability as a trombonist may only be matched by his appetite for music!
