Nebülith is the product of John Shaughnessy, a professional bassist, multi instrumentalist and engineer based out of Charlotte NC. As as kid, his tastes gravitated towards the heavy, groove influenced rock of Black Sabbath, Zeppelin, King Crimson and a heavy dose of funk. Later on he embraced alternative music and proto punk like The MC5 as well as next gen stoner/Doom like Sleep and Monster Magnet. While paying the bills playing jazz and show band gigs, he started a project called Space Force Alpha, with vocalist Omari Wilkerson.
