Mar Guwop

Mar Guwop (also known as Guwee Guwop) is an emerging Canadian rapper and songwriter based in Toronto, Ontario. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the city’s underground hip-hop scene and his affiliation with prominent local collectives. Mar Guwop was raised in the Southside Jane and Finch area, also known as Connections neighborhood of North York, Toronto. Growing up in an area with a rich history of local hip-hop talent, he was heavily influenced by the Toronto rap scene’s evolving sound in the late 2010s.
