Les 5-4-3-2-1

Les 5-4-3-2-1 was a shibuya-kei act that took it's name from a Manfred Mann song and it's style from French pop of the '70s and '80s. They debuted in 1993 with two EPs: UN and DEUX, 20 minutes of light, dancey pop with French affectations with the label of Pizzicato Five and the Escalator, Triad. Members Lead guitarist, bassist and songwriter Sally Kubota who formerly played in the short-lived beat combo revival group, Phantom Gift and is one of the major players in a scene that bred Pizzicato Five, Original Love and the Pearl Brothers.
