Junatime singer/songwriter, Heather Sommerhauser, is a pop artist whose love of '80s music resulted in the creation of her album Remember the Magic, described as "pastel synth-warmed, brightly wistful, melancholy pop." Chris Schlarb, owner and producer of Long Beach's Big Ego studios, asked Heather to collaborate, and recording began in October 2019, when Heather went into the studio to perform stripped-down versions of the songs that would eventually appear on the album.
