Josef Berg

(1927-1971) At the 1950s Berg created his own style, a kind of bizzare musical Neo-classicism associated with literature and theatre. After a series of "chamber operas", as Berg called his unusual creations his works gradually became much more theatre than music but finally he limited his plans only to music.
