JEma

Jema is a three-piece hardcore band from Silver Spring, Maryland. The band started off as a side project consisting of three members from the rock/alternative band, Undergone. The three members began this band because they were getting into heavier music at the time and wanted to be in a band that played heavier music. The name 'Jema' was an acronym of the band members at the time. "J" for Johnny, "E" for Ernie, "M" for Matt, and "A" for Andrew. But the vocalist, Andrew, unfortunately passed away of diabetes shortly after joining.
