Jasmin Kaset is from Cottontown, TN. Her mother, Angela Kaset, is a prominent Nashville songwriter. Not dissimilar from The Judds, the two collaborate regularly. In 2010, Kaset partnered with producer Jordan Lehning to make "Hell and Half of Jordan." Recording and writing time spanned 2 years, and the final effort revealed an 18 minute record named by the Nashville Scene as "one of the better (if relatively unheralded) records to come out of our fair city in recent memory.
