Grace Askew

Grace Askew (born in Memphis, TN) is an American ssinger-songwriter. A sixth generation Memphian, Askew grew up in a family full of artists, designers, and performers. Her interest in music – in combination with writing – was not enlivened until the age of 13, when she began taking guitar lessons and, ultimately, putting words to chords. Seventeen was a transition stage fwith frequent trips to visit her older sister, who was then living as an actress in New York City.
