A second generation Chinese American, Gowe or G.ifted O.n W.est E.ast reigns from Beacon Hill, located in the south end of Seattle Washington. Gowe has found his place in Seattle’s unique underground hip-hop scene where he is not afraid to turn the volume to spit about his faith to glorify Christ, to voice the struggles of Asian Americans, and lyrically challenge the society’s racial and class inequalities to create social change.
