1) Government is the avant-garde Belgium-based duo of English keyboardist Emma Newell and Norwegian guitarist Thør Vik, who have experimented with many different musical styles over several albums. 2) Government (earlier known as The Government) is a bluesrock band from Gothenburg with main inlfuences from The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.
