Gasparo Visconti (* January 10 1683 in Cremona ; † possibly to 1713) was an Italian violinist and composer. Gasparo Visconti came from a noble family and claimed to be a pupil of Corelli from 1697 to 1702. From 1702 he stayed for some time in London, where he often appeared as a soloist in theaters and concert halls. He gladly joined with his friend the French flutist Jacques Paisible on (around 1656-1721). His sonatas for violin and flute were very popular in England.
