Fret is Mick Harris's (aka Scorn, Monrella, Lull, Quoit et al) mutant techno alias. After shelving Scorn and taking a break from music in 2011 he resurrected Fret in 2017. His new material under the Fret handle feels like the culmination of his thirty-plus years in pioneering dark, heavy and uncompromising music. It’s a gargantuan, mesmerising and incredibly explosive, powerful sound. The earth shattering bass we know and love from Scorn is there
