Edward Smith, better known as The Fast 1, was a gangsta rap artist from San Francisco, CA. He's the older brother of the late Ramadan "Tha Dangla" Smith, who was shot dead in 2007. The Fast 1 released a solo album in 1995 through G-Note Records, entitled "Down 4 The Cause". Very good album by the way. He also appeared along with JT The Bigga Figga on a song of 1997 Master P soundtrack "I'm Bout It" & several other compilations before vanishing...
