El Castro Biography El Castro is a Tunisian hip-hop artist and songwriter, born in Tunisia in 1989. He is reported to be from the Zahrouni district of Tunis. Before entering music, he was active as a breakdancer before transitioning into rap and songwriting. He emerged within the Tunisian underground hip-hop scene and is part of the generation of artists who developed after the 2011 revolution, when independent rap gained wider visibility in Tunisia.
