DJ Clarknova is the alias of Toonami founder Jason DeMarco. In 2001, he produced the Toonami: Deep Space Bass album recorded by Joe Boyd Vigil, composer for Toonami's score from 1999 through 2002. In 2003 there were plans for a follow-up album to be released, entitled Toonami: Black Hole Megamix. DJ Clarknova took Toonami's beats (both old and new) and mixed them with sound bytes from both Toonami and Adult Swim programs, resulting in an hour-long compilation
