David Clynick

David Clynick: I was born in the UK and raised in the city of Leicester. My father was a jazz saxophonist and there were always various musical instruments lying around the house for me to try. Eventually I settled on the piano and later the guitar. I learned music theory initially from textbooks and from the many jazz musicians that often came to our house. Later, I did my music degree with the Open University…So I'm pretty much self-educated, musically speaking.
