Confrontiers combine the synth sound so loved by 80s retro-ists The Killers and fuse it with an altogether more heavy dynamic. Imagine taking Brandon Flowers on a night out with Iggy circa 1969 (ok). But there's more, throw in elements of Pavement, dashes of duelling melodies (imagine Sleater-Kinney but boys not riot Grrls - tho you should see their bassist in eyeline: questionable gender), a slice of politics and a droplet of down-beat stuf too.
