What started as a sleep deprived joke of a Finnish teenager to make "backwards black metal" in early 2021, based on a Pagefire april fools video from 2020, Chvrchbvrner has morphed into a more legitimate music project that combines electronic music, dark ambient and noise into what it's creator thinks of as "Voidwave"
