Heavy metal band based in Boise, Idaho. Active during the 1980s, briefly reunited in 2017 for Treefort. Formed in 1983 by founder/ guitarist Mitch Hoitt. Mitch brought in Ray VanCour (bass) and Troy Nickell (drums). Shortly after, Jefferey Fultz (guitar) and Curt Caldwell (vocals) completed the original lineup. ChildzPlay’s debut album First Toy was recorded in 1985 and quickly received consistent local radio support, launching ChildzPlay into a string of high-profile “live” shows around Idaho.
