Maialen Gurbindo López (born May 13, 1994) is an Spanish singer. Maialen studied music at the Orfeón Pamplonés Juvenil and at the Hilarion Eslava public music school. She also sang in 3indarrok Elektrotxaranga, Biluzik, and a gospel choir. In 2017, the Chica Sobresalto project was formed with Maialen Gurbindo (vocalist), Ander Arlegi (bass), Ibai Sanz (guitar), Gorka Cía (guitar) and Aritz Legarrea (drums), who were joined by Leire Celestino on piano.
