Hitoshi Yasui (a.k.a chair house) was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1955. He began his creative career in the early 1990s as a multimedia artist utilizing a macintosh SE/30 + Full Color Board (according to his personal website). Since retiring, he has been active in both digital art and music. One of his most known musical project is the "Piano Ten Thousand Leaves" project, of which he is the leader and contributes to by composing a piece every day.
