Capitan Melao

A singer songwriter side project by Javier Weyler, drummer for Stereophonics. Javier was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), grew up in Caracas (Venezuela) and lives in London (UK). All this cultural exposure and experiences are reflected into this work. The first ideas came together in his bedroom and was completed in spare times at hotel rooms, recording studios and the bunk of a tour bus whistle on the road with Stereophonics. Capitan Melao is a melting pot of Javier’s life.
