The Black Artists Group (BAG) was a collective of jazz musicians as well as dancers, poets, and other artists formed in St. Louis, Missouri. Their music recordings would fall under the umbrella of avant-garde and free jazz. The collective was active from 1968 until the early 70's, but in the early 70's they relocated to Paris, and then again to New York.
