Aystar is a prominent British rap artist from Liverpool, England, widely recognized as a pioneering voice of the Liverpool underground music scene. Raised in the inner-city area of Toxteth, he is famous for introducing a distinct "Scouse trap" subgenre, delivering gritty, brutally honest street tales with a uniquely laid-back, nonchalant flow. He made history as the first Liverpool rapper ever to sell out the city's O2 Academy venue.
