There are multiple artists named Anchorage: 1) Anchorage is a neoclassical darkwave group formed in Germany in 1990. Kai-Uwe Skerra and Heiko Nitsche planned to have a band on their own after the participation in several projects. In 1991 guitarist Kai-Uwe Saffran, lead vocalist Michael Liebetrau and female vocalist Angela Grahl joined the group.
